Osseo Apps

We have access to Google documents, spreadsheets, forms, presentations for staff and students through Osseo. You can get there from apps.district279.org.  Students also have access to this and can take advantage of the collaborative nature of the tools.  All users login with their district username and password and can access it from any internet connection.

The Lightning Thief

by Rick Riordan The first in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is pretty good. It mixes a current story with ancient greek mythology. I was never a fan of mythology, but this story kept me reading until the end. I enjoyed the twists and turns and would recommend it to any age 3rd grade and up!
