I didn't think I would like this, but the complex world Meyer creates is enchanting. I wanted to keep reading because there are so many layers to this and I want to know how everything is connected. There are so many different parts to this, but it wasn't confusing. However, summarizing this book is very hard. If you like the current dystopian genre, this one will not disappoint.

The Lightning Thief

by Rick Riordan The first in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is pretty good. It mixes a current story with ancient greek mythology. I was never a fan of mythology, but this story kept me reading until the end. I enjoyed the twists and turns and would recommend it to any age 3rd grade and up!
