Review: Belly Up

Belly Up by Stuart Gibbs My rating: 4 of 5 stars Love this adventure! I totally want to go visit this zoo like place in Texas. This was just a fun one to read. I loved that the main character told adults his problems throughout the story. I always yell at the books when kids think they can handle it without telling anyone, but since he did tell and they just didn't help him, I found myself cheering for the main character the entire time. Waiting for the Magic by Patricia MacLachlan My rating: 4 of 5 stars I loved this story even though I am not an animal fan. I cried happy and sad tears throughout this whole book! View all my reviews

Review: Guinea Dog,

Guinea Dog, by Patrick Jennings My rating: 3 of 5 stars This book was the antidote to all things difficult in my life at the time. Sad shows and the news were bringing me down. But knowing I had such a ridiculous book to read helped me remember that life can be sad, but books are an amazing escape. I was hoping for a little more on the supernatural part of not being able to find Petopia, but a story about a boy and his guinea dog was still entertaining. View all my reviews
